Thought this might be interesting. What kind of hacks to you use for your horses, farm etc.

I clean and disinfect bits in the dishwasher.

    Now you, GO!

I buy dog clippers instead of horse clippers..... haha they're cheaper and I usually get quite a bit of use out of them. Then when blades get dull I just buy a new set.

I use the plastic jugs that tidy cats litter comes in... the one with the handle... to haul water to buckets at horse shows. Way easier than trying to carry a bucket full of water.

Cheap electric coffee grinder for smashing pills to make a paste or mix with feed.

Bot knives makes cutting twine on bales really easy since the blade is on the outside. No need to get underneath the string and since the blade is curved you don't need the same angle that a knife needs. They do break easy though, so don't twist.

You can use a horse halter as a dog harness quite easily.

I put my liniment mix in spray bottles and spray away and rub in. Saves the mess of using a sponge and losing all that precious liniment that just falls to the floor and onto your arms and legs ! I also like I can get an even coating! Honestly I have not seen anyone else do this lol

These are good. Hadn't considered the halter/dog harness or liniment in a spray bottle. I have baby oil in a spray bottle for detangling manes and tails, and I haul water in Culligan jugs - depending on brand, they might have a handle and they have a cap. No mess and easy to load.

Not really a horse hack, but a really cute idea.

The little girls at my last barn went to the second hand store and got a bunch of childrens rubber boots with all different girly prints on them. Filled them with dirt & flowers and hung them all around the round pen. It was super cute and pretty when done.
