    "WUSS HORSE!"

    "What?"

    "What did you just do?"

    "I - um...nothing...."

    "YOU TRIED TO KICK ME!"

    "I....I didn't mean it...."

"YES YOU DID! YOU ARE IN TROUBLE YOUNG MAN!"

"I...I just came in for dinner, I was all excited, and you took off my boot and it rubbed my leg..."

"I DO NOT CARE! DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!"

"I....I'm sorry. I won't ever do it again."

"Well....alright then. Go ahead and eat your dinner."

    "I can't."

    "Why?"

    "Because I....I feel bad."

"Well keep your feet on the ground then!"

"I promise. Can I still go out in the pasture, and have my alfalfa and my carrots?"

    "NO!"

"Okay but I gotta....get my fly sheet off!"

"Okay okay keep your pants on."

    "What pants?"

"It's just an expression. Don't be so literal."

    "What's literal?"

    "GET MY FLY SHEET OFF!"

"OH NO Wuss Horse! Those gnats got under your sheet! How'd they get there?"

    "I dunno but I..."

"Could you stop rubbing your butt on the wall? You're going to knock over the building!"

    "I ITCH!"

"Come on, let me put the saddle on. There. Very good. You remembered the girth and everything."

    "I GOTTA ITCH ME!"

Would spraying him down with fly spray before the fly sheet or before saddle time help? I have been adding a few drops of cedarwood, lavender and tea tree oil to my fly spray and it has helped greatly with my 3 elders...

LOL yea one of mine too. Let them out to graze on our overgrown yard this morning and Lucy has very sensitive skin...sprayed her down AGAIN and this time dug out my old fly leggings and put those on her legs for added protection. Had to giggle how she was walking with her back legs, she gave me "The Look". But, seems much happier.

Our flies have been something else as of late! They need to go down the road to the cow farm there....and the pigs...and chickens....
