If it was a 'bad day' she should of excused herself, the horse did not look so forward, she was having to kick and use the whip to try and keep him going.

It was ugly, plain and simple...would I be in tears, yes, because I could see a lot of my worst habits there, but you stick to lower levels until you overcome them. It was an ugly performance, no two ways about it...and part of being a good horseman is saying "Nope, today this is doing neither of us any good, I'm out of here"

The announcer said she decided to stop. I'll check the results.

She scored a 51 then was disqualified for using the whip one handed.

If this works this is her other ride, and it is a LOT better, not sure how it scored, but the rider looks to be riding above her comfort level....

That's nonsense. They are ridden and trained with a lot of pressure and are used to being under pressure. It's the way they are trained that makes them unsuitable for a weaker, less experienced rider.

I've been on one retired one of those a few times and after the second long side of trot extension and a few flying changes she got so over eager and heated up that she was about to explode or take off on me and I was no longer able to keep her with me (didn't help that her trot was not the easiest to sit).

But that was trainer made, the man who showed her for years installed this in her and could control it. She was otherwise a very nice, relaxed horse, but switch her on and you had to live with it.

That isn't what was going on here. He was just overall strong.
