So . . . this is a confusing question for many of us! Do you want where we were born? Graduated high school? Place we live now? Place we consider "home base"?

Born in Ocean Side, California. Raised there, North Carolina and Texas since I had a career Marine for a dad! He retired to New Mexico when I was still in High School and that is home now. Lived in South Carolina, Kansas and Virginia while I was in the military.

Southeastern New Mexico is home now. I can't imagine living anywhere else.

Haha! I'm just glad I don't have to live through the winter up there!! I might not survive!! Today it is 60* with a slight breeze and I had a jacket on and was so cold!!! BRING BACK MY 80*+ weather we have been having!!!:bawling:And then I look at the weather up where I am going (which is also centralish AB) and shed a few tears lol

    South West BC, Canada :)

There is no "right province" to move to anymore for warmth. We used to be the mildest region of the entire country, but apparently this winter that memo was MISSED.:bawling:

Kansas may not be a hullabaloo of excitement but it really is a good place to live. Real estate is very reasonable compared to the rest of the country, rental isn't bad either. It's the basic cost of living that's decent. I was watching that show where people relocate and people are thrilled for what they can get here. There's a lot to do here too for an area with no ocean or mountains and for me it's great that I'm centrally located. I find most of the people are level headed too, kind of easy going.
