Pictures really small, but I will go with my best answer and say that its a Wild bay with Gray tail.

Hmmm, given the look of those 2 hind anklets, I might be inclined to think the tail is (also) a result of Splash ;)

Wild bay with "gray tail" which has nothing to do with the gray gene. LOL! So agreeing with RMT.

Definitely a bay....sometimes you see a sort of flaxen mixed tail in Arabians that are bays. This doesn't look like an Arabian to me tho, altho I imagine that coloring can occur in any breed. There are some breeds that have that red chocolate color that sort of resembles that horse, altho they usually have more flaxen in the mane too, altho I think that is mainly in Rocky Mountain horses and this doesn't really look like that breed. Very pretty tho!

The color in RMH's you're talking about is bay silver.

I'm 99% sure the horse in the OP is a Thoroughbred stallion. I do see what you're talking about in Arabians in Thoroughbreds as well and we've always called it "gray tail". This guy could be splash, but it's too yellowish to me.

Too yellowish and not enough white. IMO the tail is one of the last things to get "dipped"

Looks like a wild bay to me. I would say no on silver.
