It's early, DLS started, and both me and cows are grumpy and uncooperative.

So, it's a Lorde sort of day.

Listening to the whole cd, but this song always mellows my mood.

I'm listening to a German Language Audio book on my Kindle, this morning.
I wouldn't say it relaxes me; I concentrate on it for about 20 minutes, then take a break, otherwise the new vocabulary doesn't stick in my head.

Is it a novel, or like a study book?
I found that for learning Spanish, reading and/or listening to a book I am very familiar with helped a lot. I listened and read along to all of the Grimms fairy tales in Spanish, and it was a lot of fun, and really helped me understand different tenses better than the conjugation charts.

It's a book about a foreigner coming to Germany with just a rudimentary grasp of the language and trying to meet people, find an apartment and a job, etc: daily life in Germany.

It's specifically for language learners with certain words and phrases repeated throughout the book so they'll stick in your head. One chapter will deal with the present tense of verbs, another with the past and so on.

Yeah, there are quite a few. I went through about a dozen beginner level books already. Read those each at least three times, as they weren't that long.

I am just starting those designed for the B1-B2 people. That's just a little past beginner level, starting into lower intermediate level. I understand most of it but there are lots of new words and word combinations as well as more complicated sentence structure to learn.

I’m listening to the Switchfoot “Edge of the Earth” EP.

Or I was, on my drive out to the barn. Country music plays in the barn so that’s what I’ll be listening to now. :p

My Spotify list has 15 hours of classic country.

So good things like Wolverton Mountain, East Bound and Down, 9 to 5, Fast as You, Girl on the Billboard, etc.

Today, listening to a Rosetta CD on learning Italian, a webinar on advancements in the treatment of psychotic disorders, and a webinar on the neuro form of hv1. AND a set of webinars on cryptography, though that is getting pushed to the bottom of the pile I think.
