For what it's worth, babies are pretty rubbery and can recover from things if they get the right care. Maybe it can be fixed. Doesn't sound like it will be quick or cheap though. Bummer.

The poor little guy had a really rough day today. He started going down and was scarcely able to get back up. He was also getting weak and dehydrated. I loaded him and mama up at 6:30 am and we headed straight in. The vet took one look at him and said he thought it was actually a fracture higher up in his shoulder instead but he hoped he was wrong. We fought and struggled to get x-rays for quite a while. Even though he was with his mom he was still stressed and very uncooperative. He was a fiesty little bugger till the very end. Even heavily sedated he was a night mare. They found nothing at all on the x-rays. So they are saying it's most likely a nerve issue in the right side? I'm so tired right now I can't remember what he for sure said.

I left him overnight and they put the poor guy on an IV for awhile and they are going to watch him overnight and we are going to reasses in the morning. He is feeling much better after the IV though and is back to himself except for his right side being some what unfunctioning.

Well that's.....I don't have a reaction. I hope the little guy is better in the morning. Good news that the x-rays were clear.
