I was wondering if anyone has ever gone to a place that has trail/obstacle courses for you to take your horse through? Not like a competition thing but as a fun thing that you just go to to play around. If so how much did you pay? And did you enjoy it, and would you go back?

A saddle club near me does obstacle night's every second Monday. I took my colt out one night and I plan on going back!
They had bridges with pool noodles, a drag, toy rifles that shot, a walk through with streamers and lots of different stuff!
Cost was $15 per horse and we had to have proof of liability insurance.
Was a fun night and was just perfect for my boy's first time off property.
Every opportunity to school in a different environment is fantastic!

We have done organized obstacle challenges (my husband and I tied for first in the rookie division - WOOT! lol)

There is a place less than an hour away that is set up for practice and they are continually adding more obstacles. I believe it was under $30 for the day.

There is a woman near us that sets up her yard and it's about $30 I believe.

    So.Much.Fun!!!

I thought about building a really nice course for myself because I love doing stuff like that with my horses and was wondering if it was just me or if others thought it was fun too. Good to know I'm not the only one who enjoys them.
