Thought it might be fun for us to post pics of our creations. You must be willing to share the recipe though. :D

Sunday night after a day at the beach with hubby means simple food.

Mini tatie topped lamb pies made from left over roast, sausage rolls and mini ham and egg pies.

Followed by a desert left over from last night. Vanilla and chocolate layered custard, meringue crumble and strawberry pearls.

You just tell the guy at the store to sell me a winning lottery ticket for a change! Dinner tonight will be pork chops on the grill, fresh asparagus from the garden, and some starch--probably rice. I haven't decided yet, but I have half the day for that yet!

    What is a KC strip?

It is simple. Only took about half an hour at best to put them together, into the oven for 20 minutes. Time for me to have a drink whilst they cooked.

If I wanted really fast food then I would just open a bottle of the homemade stew, braised steak, soups that I have. :D

Or zap one of the frozen home made meals. There are no bought premade meals here.

NO!! Why did I open this thread? Tomorrow I get to have my very first colonoscopy so tonight's dinner is a healthy dose of laxatives. Bleck!! I'm STARVING right now and can only have a clear liquid diet. :( I will join you all on Tuesday though!
