..."Lord that is one ugly piece of work."

I'm not talking your exes new partner, I'm talking about bridles, saddles, breast collars and so on.

Hahaha I think it would be fun if everyone would share what items make them look twice and wonder "who in their right mind would buy this?"!

I'll share mine in a bit, I have a long list of "do not want" items.

Anything with the confederate flag on it.
Also those $200 saddles on ebay that are plastic and all different colors.

All of the double t and double t type saddles.

Cheap zebra print is terrible. Quality zebra is awesome. There is no Inbetween with zebra. It's either terrible or awesome.

    Not a fan of pink.

Tack that has the hair fringe instead of regular fringe is just terrible.

I like belt headstalls, but ones covered every inch in the big square conchoa are super ugly.

Red tack on chestnuts/sorrels is horrible.

Oh boy, I hope barrel racers don't take offense, but I can't stand the current fringe trend. Just not my thing.

You should hear me at tack auctions. 99% of the stuff is cheap crap made with cardboard leather. I have to really watch what I say, because much of the stuff there disgusts me with lack of quality.

Patterned saddle seats. I don't care that you can't see it when someone is sitting on it - just knowing it exists makes me sad.

I can't decide if I like or dislike cowhair accents on tack. In small amounts (like certain 5 star saddle pads), it looks nice... but entire breast collars made of it kind of scares me. I saw a PURSE covered in cowhair the other day. I pet it for a while, while asking what woman would buy that.

(For your information, a woman with a big blonde perm and tie dyed jeans. No joke, I saw it with my own two eyes).

I've always been very much conservative, decorative I don't use personally, but poking fun at others? Nope. I think it's cool if people less conservative express themselves. One mans silver parade saddle.. is another's nightmare, it's what makes the world go round, differences.;)
