Last time i had surgery, I was approx 110 lbs. I was told later it took a huge dose to put me under. Enough for a Football player, they said, lol. But thankfully I have no memory of fighting it.

Bella is a little tricky with sedation just because there are products that don't work on her. Ace amps her up. And if she's at all amped up before sedation, forget it - her adrenaline won't let it take effect.

Sparky dozes off almost instantly with a small amount of sedation. Until the vet touches his junk. I can clean his sheath easily without sedation and my daughter can do him loose in the pasture. But let a stranger touch his nether regions? Oh no you didn't! He'll wake up instantly and then you need enough to knock out a Brahma bull.

    He's shy. :blushing:

So your "having doubt's" thread made me realize that I didn't follow Calypso's story, even tho I've followed Quest's. So I sat and I read through all 85 pages over 2 days .
So now I need the contact info for this animal communicator, because I'd love to hear her take on Bella. I've used one before, but I knew her since before I got Bella, so she knew a lot about her already. I'd love to hear from someone who has no personal connection and seems to be scarily accurate.
After reading this, I also feel Calypso could turn into a wonderful horse for you, with the right trainer. Too bad you aren't closer because the trainer who's been working with Bella is great, she doesn't get phased by anything Bella does and never gets mad or frustrated if she does anything bad.

Anyway, I loved reading your journey :D

Cute enough little saddle, doubt it will be wide enough.

How wide is a width to look for? This one has the nice small back.
