Calypso isn't doing much if anything I am afraid, just being pretty.

Quest has an exciting update, but I need to bump the thread!

Is everything okay with Calypso? You haven't updated this in so long, I am getting worried...

    Oh no, everything is good!
She looks like a monkey right now because I hacked her mane (HER BEAUTIFUL MANE!!) to pieces about a month ago from a horrid burdock invasion, so I haven't taken any recent pictures. I am in denial about how it looks. It looks really bad.
She is just being a horse, and doing horse things. We haven't gone on any walks lately because my dang foot has been acting up, but she is perfectly content to laze about and be herself, and I am perfectly content to admire her doing horse things and indulge in horsey therapy where I make her stand still while I brush her and recount all my woes.
I have just been busy in general this summer, and since we haven't gone anywhere new or done anything different. . . I haven't updated!

@Dona Worry Cowboy Magic works wonders for the burdocks. It makes the hairs slick enough to get them out without having to butcher manes and tails.

I usually get them out with a generous application of baby oil, but this. . . This was beyond even my skill.
It is starting to look ok again. Oddly, her tail wasn't as badly affected...

Dreamer did that to me one year.... fortunately she can pull off a pleasure horse haircut... Unfortunately, that was the same week either a goat or a colt ate her tail... sooo... she looked ridiculous.

Aaaand I come out to this mess... grrrrr... I think I might chop it off. He has vision issues that make ear/face handling difficult.... not impossible but for something that needs this much strangling, it just isn't worth the battle.
