We were crossing the street in quaint picturesque Yuppie-ville and some dude chose that moment to fire up his curbed Ferrari. I honestly thought I was going to get my leg blown off.

    Wow.

    Nice car but some attitude.

No, it didn't backfire, lol. Stand right behind one when it starts up, you'll see what I mean.

A little extra carbon never hurt anybody.
You already have carbon atoms in your cells.

While I am sure there are some genuinely nice guys and gals out there that own expensive, flashy cars, I have only met the jerks.
I have found when crossing the cows that the flashier the car, the more impatient the driver.
A minivan will wait patiently, a mustang or BMW will try and drive through the herd.
    Or honk. Angrily.

I can't imagine the guy was sitting there waiting for you to cross just to fire it up. **** happens, you will live and the carbon will come off. Nor would it knock your leg off. That is a complete over exageration

And for the record, plenty of people with those fancy cars are genuine hard workers.

I didn't say they weren't genuine hard workers. In fact, if you give me a Ferrari, I'll work genuinely hard.

If you think about it real hard, you'll see that I was just joking around. My hubby and I just were making jokes about it and I thought it was funny.

I was waiting for something funny to happen, and was richly rewarded.
