    Re: Tanglewood Farms

if you're talking about the Tanglewood farms in Ontario; then no it is not reputable at all! They've been banned from most shows in the area.

Jazz there are two Tanglewoods in Ontario....the one owned by Cathy and Tim Rooke is fabulous and in CE Ontario...I have not been to the "other" one...but have heard stories.

With hayburnberheights being in NY....maybe there is a third one...if not...and you are asking about the ones in Ontario....check out the owners names...if it is not Cathy/Tim....may I suggest you run...and run fast....

I almost became a working student at the one in Ontario, but a 6th sense I have told me DON'T DO IT. I have always sensed when something doesn't feel right and something kept telling me maybe moving across the country so young wasn't such a good idea, plus the woman I worked for at the time had some friends out east who told her about Tanglewood and they did not have anything Positive to say about it.

It took me a while to remember why I asked (as this is a really old thread). It was one up in CA, they had a couple of horses for sale that my Hubby liked.

Needless to say we never went to look at any of theirs because it was just to far to go, almost directly straight accross the big pond, but we would have had to take the LOOOOONG way around :p
