    Hello all!
I've been looking at buying a new saddle for my horse as the show season is winding down for me.. I found this saddle and was wondering if anybody has experience with this brand "Stallion Tacking". My horse friends haven't heard of it but say it looks like a nice saddle. It is used, FQHB, 16in seat, priced at $350. I've read both good and bad reviews online about this brand. Wondering how much a new Stallion Tack saddle would cost. Another thing is that the saddle is fairly local, I am able to drive and go take a look at it before making the final decision. I also have more pictures of need be. Any input is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

It's total junk. Made in India of urine tanned leather. Junk. Junk. JUNK!

Same goes for Silver Royal, Royal King.. any new saddle that can be bought for $350 is one to stay far away from. You can't even by a tree for that.

Take your $350 and see what you can buy used. A good "cheaper" new saddle brand I trust is Corriente. They start around $750. You can sometimes find one used in your price range.

Thank you for your reply! That is all really helpful.. I've been using a double T just because it's what I could afford at the time. It did its job but it's not my favorite anymore. Made in India just like this one I guess lol. I've been borrowing a friends King Seires for that past few weeks, would they be a good brand to look into?

They were practically giving them away on Ebay a couple years ago, and even then they couldn't sell them. Keep shopping.

You can also find a well used, but still functional/safe circle Y in that price range.
Also, American Saddlery is a cheaper brand, but they are decent made for the money IMO

Corriente sells their bare trees for $175. That's what we use in our saddles.

    I'm surprised they're not pricier.

Tell me about the trees. To me they're a little narrow.
