My 3 year old Victor got an early X-mas present this year. I bought him a nice black bridle, with red padding on the browband and cavason. It matches the halter he got earlier in the year. The bit should be here tomorrow! I'll try and post pictures of it when I try it on him this weekend.

I keep telling her that this orange blanket is her punishment for ruining all her nice ones and if she was better to blankets, she wouldn't have to look like a giant pylon.

I was wondering where you went!
I just love the vintage type ones! Have you ever thought of making saddle seat type browbands? I don't know if there is any rules for browbands but you sure could make some nice ones!

You could also make ear pieces!

Already do. One or two ear bridles, halters, lunging cavesons, white keuring tack, reins, cheek pieces, nosebands, breast collars, stirrup straps, spur straps, belts, bracelets, dog collars. Whatever anybody needs

I came into a very small amount of money from an insurance settlement recently. I could have spent that money in countless responsible ways, such as:
    - paying down my line of credit that is currently sitting at $13 000
    - paying off my student loan
    - putting it into savings
    - using it for home renovations to boost my equity

But then of course then this popped into my head:
    - you can finally afford that new Lovatt & Ricketts equitation saddle you've been dreaming of for 2 years

Do I consciously know all the responsible ways in which I could spend my money, yet buy the saddle anyway?

I think we all know the answer.

Recently took on a senior mare so had to get her ALL the things. Blanket. Sheet. Stable sheet. Standing wraps that matched her stable sheet. New rope halter. I also got oliver a fancy new breast collar since he's so rotund and wither-less.
