I have trouble ppicturing the run in my head. Any chance of photos?
More Wulfgar the Undefeated .
Ignore the mess, I had to move him so he wouldn't wake the baby.
Yes, he is living in a cat carrier. No, it isn't ideal. Yes, I intend to change that. Nope, haven't had time yet.

This is what it looks like. It is 6' tall, not 10'. The wire is burried 36" out from the bottom of the run on three sides. We also burried wire 36" out from the coop, all the way around.

This is the door for the chickens to go in and out of the coop. We can close and lock it from either side.

Maybe you can see how the frame is put together here. This is the gate and the elbow used to connect the top rail is visible. We already had the gate so made the frame on this end of the run to fit the gate. We put chicken wire over the chain link. I don't think chain link tension bars/clips would work well with chicken wire!
Ok, Dona, did I miss something? WHAT BABY?
There is a sweet baby that belongs to a couple that works for us, not mine sadly.
Well, you are young yet, practically a child, compared to me, lol. Don’t give up hope yet. I know some nice boys, but that is the problem, they are boys. Your age, but not very mature. They are not my kids, just children of friends.
Mr. Right is just around the corner, you just have to turn it, too. You will make a great mommy.
Sat down with my uncle and his right hand man, and hammered out a design for my beautiful chicken palace!
Aw, thank you for the kind words! I'd love to have kids, and sooner rather than later with this dang clock ticking all the time, but I am not quuuuite set up yet.
I am dating a decent guy right now. . . Don't know if he is Mr. Right or not, but I enjoy his company, and he mine, and that's the first step, right?
Wulfgar the Undefeated in his new house.
Not the fabulous sunny chicken palace, sadly.
You guys... I'm afraid to touch my chickens now! Since I got sick I just don't want to handle them.
It sucks because they're pretty friendly. I still take care of them, but I no longer sit and let them come up to me. I don't pet them. I don't hand feed them.
