I googled standard dose of Doxy for a full size horse, and came across 5mg's twice per day. my local vet has an online prescription pharmacy, and 60 scoops of 5mg doxy was $160.... so, if i'm figuring it right, and she is similarily priced, it should only be about $320 for the 2 months of treatment.
Whoa. Glad you figured it out. And sorry your breeding plans fell through..or can you still breed in two months? Not sure if that would make for a too late baby?
It would be getting to be a bit too late. We like late March - April foals.
Darn... was hoping vet forgot... got my 3 invoices via email.
1. Culture /Cytology
2. Draw blood and Lymes Assay
3. 2 months Doxy.
So will you show her some more after her treatment?
Can ride her now. Actually going to her first one for the year friday
Is she improving quickly?
