I just wanted to know what you guys thought of Show Sheen. I have my own opinion on it, but wanted to know if others had the same.
I personaly don't like using it on the saddle area (it makes the horse too slick). Do you guys recommend anything that does the same thing without making the horse slick??? Just wondering!:)

I personally don't like Showsheen. It has it's place in the show ring, maybe, but that's it. Too drying.

    I use Eqyss Avocado Mist.

I use show sheen, just not wear the saddle goes.

we usually put it on my gelding the day before and then when we get there we use.....

It works great, gets the horse nice and shiny and they are not slippery at all.

I use show sheen. I alwaysa spray it ont he horses. But then i notice that it makes them VERY slippery. Expecially when doing Bareback. The saddle will slide aswell. But i havnt had a big problem with the saddle slidding to bad.

There are some show sheens that are no slip. That is what i use for shows because they have Eq classes right after showmanship with only a 5 minute break!

I have used show sheen before and i actually perfer magic cowboy dust control/coat shine over it. I have (accidentally) put both where the saddle was and the magic cowboy wont make the saddle slide but the show sheen did. I like it for both halter and riding for any kind of showing. But that is just what i have found out will all of my horses i have worked/shown before. :D

I use it on my Miniature gelding. I like it, but then again, its all I have ever known. At shows he is usually already so shiny from his feed program, I just give him a little spritz, and he is ready to go. :)

FlaxSheen is made with flax extracts and essential oils, natural shine enhancers with no silicone. Its great for hydrating the hair and improving shine. I swear my horse's manes and tails are longer - maybe it's because the hair isn't breaking??

I'm in love with show sheen. But I only use it on the tail when it is tangled and shaving full. Good luck :)
