    Hi,
Recently I came into ownership of a saddle, however, I am not a horse person and know nothing about them. I was wondering if anyone knows the maker of this saddle or if you would be able to tell me more about it. The only markings I can find on the saddle are "SL 100." Thanks in advance!

Did you check it thoroughly for any other stamping of a maker's mark? Lift up the seat jockey and look for any marks on the skirt. Is there anything stamped on the back of the cantle?
I wondered if the SL stands for maker "S. Loomis" (Sherman Loomis), Santa Barbara, but I think those are more from the 1800's.
I'm guessing your saddle is circa 1970's, maybe early 1980's.

You can check out what various maker's marks look like here:

SL could refer to the Silver Lace, on a 100 model. That doesnt help narrow down the maker tho.
It has Hardware very similar or the same as my 70s era Action, and action co was an umbrella company for a couple other makes. The old catalog is still findable online, you could try rooting through it for a match.
