Alright guys, opinions on Rice Bran vs Canola Oil for weight gain economically.

I can get 3qt of canola oil for $4.00.
I can get 40 lbs of rice bran (stabilized) for $18.

I am having trouble figuring out feeding amounts for weight gain. I read 2 cups of canola oil... what about the rice bran? 1lb? 2lb?

Trying to decide which is more economical/ more bang for my buck.
Anyone have a personal opinion on either of these?
    Thanks!

Oil can, and usually does, give them the runs. You have to introduce it gradually and then, it still gives them looser stool and an oily butt.

Go with the rice bran and give a quarter cup per meal. See what that gets you in a couple months.

    I almost think ultimate finish 100 is cheaper in the long run. 20b for 55$ Feed 4 oz daily. 20b x 16 oz = 320 oz / 4oz = 80 servings/80 days

    Rice bran $40 for 40 lb Feed 2lb/day only 20 days worth for 40$ .... $160 for 80 days w0rth

Edit - I see you can get your rice bran cheaper. Still $70-$80 for 80 days worth.

2 cuppa canola oil would be like getting a laxative imo. Do not start like that and if you do, you have got to introduce it s l o w l y. I've no problem with a little bit, but I'd go with your other option.
