    Oh boy.... here are a few good ideas :) NW Oregon doesn't even get hot enough to need a pool...

    LOL! You sound like my uncle. Wanna fix binding on a book? Duct tape he says. Wanna put up Christmas lights? Duct tape... Anytime someone says duct tape, I laugh and think of him.

    Maggiesmom you forgot to add or bites you . while on the Woodward
    ranch below alpine had a cactus penetrate a 3 inch rubber boot ouch

    My redneck waterer and swimming pool is a 6foot piece of 72 inch concrete pipe buried 3 foot in the ground at least on one ocasion after a hurricane i was forced to take a bath in it since there was no electricity .

    Use Vinigar and baking soda mixing a bit before adding...the mixture measurements depend on the amount of water.

    I like this one. If you got a good size dumpster, buried it and water proofed it, it would be awesome!

    done that! was our "cooling off" area at a horse show, it worked perfectly and it was AWESOME. the best part is theres no chance for algae to grow... the water will leak out faster then algea can take hold haha.
