    Rain looks gorgeous.
I bet he had the EPM all along and that was causing the gait changes in the first place. Good luck with him.

Thanks so much. I'm pretty proud of her.

Thank you. I haven't ridden him yet after the epm treatment, just doing lots of ground work. I'm excited to see if his gait has improved any when I ride him though.

He actually has been moving very square and sound since I was last on the forum. I'm quite pleased with him and hope to be on him at least walking again within the next couple weeks.

Thanks for the love guys! I missed the comraderie here.

I was supposed to take Rain on a benefit trail ride tomorrow with my bro and SIL. I wont be participating anymore though. I rode Rain in my western saddle tonight and I don't even know why I still try that. Western is just not my thing. But anyway... long story short I took out a fan on a stall front with my knee/shin. And now I have a huge swollen area underneath my knee and it hurts to walk. It was my fault. It was stupid. I feel stupid.

    Said leg:

I'm no anatomy expert, but I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be a large lump on my lower leg.

    Yeah, that doesn't look good.

I did something similar, stupid, when I didn't look where I was stepping when I walked over the plug on my bumper pull and tripped. Only excuse I have was that I was on the road for the last 14 hours pulling my trailer including getting a flat replaced. :willynilly:

    Mine is healing thankfully. IMG_4968.JPG

Getting better eleven days later. Not really swollen anymore. Still have some scabs.

Not too much of an update. No fun pictures or anything like that.
I had a lesson this morning and man this horse makes me look good lol. It was our first lesson in.... a few months probably and it was like she hadn't skipped out on any. She is so uncomplicated to ride now... just have to know which buttons to press. Her transitions have become beautiful and easy. Her voice commands are awesome. The distinction between her "easy trot" and her "trot on" are so easy to see. I'm bragging a little, I know. I'm just so happy that I took a chance on this mare and have brought her to where she is now. She really is a good girl and it's been a joy working with her.
