    It’s about eyes on the ground. Not specific to dressage. We all tend to regress to what is comfortable, not necessarily what is correct. Dressage is just a magnifying glass for those bad habits.

    True, but many people in other non-jumping riding sports, reach a certain level and don't seek frequent instruction after that. In fact, many times people tell me they don't need lessons because of the length of time they've been riding, whether that time is 6 years or 60.... (back to the original problem with the OP....)
