In recent news, Michigan was rated the second worst place to live in the winter. Sure, the ridiculous lake effect snow was one of the reasons, but the real reason was the lack of sunshine during the winter.

I've never noticed how gray our winters are, until I read that article. Now I just feel blue. Ignorance was my friend!

Y'all just need to come to TN in the past week, we have had single digit temps with ~3 inches of snow (any snow practically sends us into a state of emergency). 3 days later it is 66 degrees. During that temperature change we had gale force winds. This is completely normal.

Change this to 13 inches of snow and a crazy high temp of 42, and you have Michigan too!

I'd love some of everyones snow and cold temps, we have had an unusually warm winter so far. Lots of rain and horrible mud. We should have a bunch of snow on the ground now, but it just keeps raining. Im over it!!

    Stop your whining.

It is not even 10am and already nearly 92f on the shady veranda.

How do you like Georgia? Augusta is in the list of places I am considering moving. On paper it is both hotter and colder in Kansas than Augusta, and more humid here.
