    See if you can find a reference to the horse. For example, what do stablehands, etc. say about him/her, definitely get a vet check if you’re seriously interested.

    just a QUICK update-
    Decided to pass on the horse. A quick "background check" revealed this was much more than just a simple issue with this horse. Plus, the behavioral issues really made their debut on the 2nd ride. Oh, horse shopping. Isn't it just the best? Thank you for all the input. The search continues! :crazy2::charge:

    Ugh. The only thing I hate more than lameness when shopping is bad attitudes (from the horses and the sellers!!)
