Thank you. Slow and steady is winning her over. She really likes being ridden.

I'm giddy finding a new horse place so close to home.

mkoktavy do you ride in the Dundas Valley?

The barn itself is actually pretty small, I was lucky enough to get a boarding spot but theres only 4 horses/ stalls. Funny I used to board in Ancaster up until a couple months ago! I went to Dundas valley once on a friends horse, plan to do a lot of trail riding this summer with Flash so will be there more! I finally have a reliable trailer and I think I'm finally confident to haul alone so we plan on making a few trips for sure!
And ya I'm only 12 minutes from the new barn now too - it' so nice being so close! Sometimes I go twice in one day.... for a horse I'm not even riding yet haha

Ha ha. I would too if Charm was only 15 mins away. I can't wait to ride her in the Valley though. Its a dream come true.

Only downside is some genious decided to put gravel on all the trails. So horses need to be shod or have boots on all 4 feet.

Ah thats too bad... still will be fun I'm sure! Have you ever rode in Short Hills Park in St. Catharines? That's where I grew up, lots of barns around there. Used to be the place to go for hacks! I hand walked Flash there this summer as I know the trails. They're not as nice as the Valley but they're free and all my friends have horses around there :)
Can I add you to FB?

No, I have never ridden in St Catherine's.

We have a great group of riders in Lancaster. It's a busy barn. Several have trailers and go to the OCTRA events.

I am hoping to go to a few training rides next summer. And l plan on doing the big ride in September in The Valley.

I will see who knows about Happy Trails as well.

Might also try the Ancaster Fair as well since Charm is only 5 mins from it.

She is small, but has good depth to her.

I didn't think I'd be too big for her. But this is my first time seeing how we "fit" together.
