What does the bored broke person do when laid up with a bad back? Well get creative that's what.

I wanted to add some sparkle to my show blanket, and to the plain black slip cover I made to cover my safety vest....the blanket is done, well at least for the strips, I may sew in some tiny crystals to put a little more sparkle. The cover is pinned while I decide if I like it, and decide if I am going to glue, sew or both.....

Add a few orange crystals @mooselady to make the turquoise pop.

What is less weird....just having a pattern on one corner of the blanket, or having non matching pattern each side?

One corner would be less weird than asymmetric pattern I think.

Wait. @mooselady I thought your safety vest was all blinged out. Did you get a new vest?

I like the random pattern. Can you duplicate the random pattern on the other side? (Would it still be called random then?)

It was blinged out, with a flamingo, for Mr Gibbs

But we decided that I had 'out grown' that, and besides the flamingo was fir Gibbs...it was an in joke, he jumped over a lawn ornament flamingo being used to mark the gate at a schooling show!

So a friend and I made a black slip cover that I put on for shows, covers up the bird, cheaper than buying a new vest.:D

Two good questions....I could possibly duplicate, but not sure if that could be called random.......

It's so nice to know that there are others who share my passion for sparkly things... :ROFLMAO:

I'm planning on blinging some browbands for our dressage bridle, and maybe our event bridle just because. We'll start with our colours of purple & gold, but just think of all the other options..!
