So rewarding. It still feels unreal. It’s just a local open show but considering all of our struggles the last 5 years, I’m finally crying happy tears instead of frustrated ones. It was a well deserved and hard earned triumph in many many ways.

I'm so happy for you!! Congrats! It's such a rewarding feeling to do well and know that your horse enjoyed himself as well! <3

Sneak peek of the good photos :) I have to go back to work to transfer them to a card because my reader isn't reading the disc I got today.

Also the trail score sheet. I am pretty sure we got one of the top scores out of novice and open. It truly boggles my mind knowing all the gnarly stuff my horse has put himself through because he couldn't handle the pressure. We are 135. Also please no equitation critiques. I KNOW what I need to work on. I ride with a trainer here and my horses trainer out of town. I'm sloppy, and slouchy but we are comfortable and getting through it. <3

Still having trouble :( Nothing I own will read the disc so I went to work and put them on an SD card. The only thing I own that will read it is my gopro hooked up to my TV lol. Shes suppose to be putting them on drop box tonight so I can get them to my computer.

I can't help but post a couple more. I'm so pleased with this horse. Again, ignore me:rolleyes: My equitation is gawdddddddd awful. Everything is wrong and I look like a toad. I will improve, I know it :)

The best thing about trail.......it isn't equitation :D I think you look just fine. You have to adjust your position in trail to get your horse through the obstacles, and you don't look like you're off balance or doing anything other than trying to help your horse in your pics. I think you look great :)

These are all just random shots in the other three patterns/tests.

Like Dream said....trail isn't so much about equitation as it is communication between horse and rider to navigate obstacles. I got to day, you got your horse looking all spit and polish in those pics....LOVE THAT! GREAT grooming and presentation!
