Could someone please tell me how long an oocyte is viable after ovulation? Thank you
(bovine ET tech so I'm not super savvy on the equine side but..) You generally have a window of about 6-10 hours after ovulation where the eggs are being fertilized. Sperm typically lives 1-2 days in the female reproductive tract so that's why there's the tiniest bit of wiggle room in the timing of AI.
