80+ degrees today and sunny. Not too breezy to boot. What do I do? I work outside. Dishes and laundry can wait. Kids can play in the yard while I pick up... so so so very nice... until I realized that I soaked up too much sun. Ugh. I need aloe and SO isn't home yet. :/

LOL, I feel your pain...I soaked up way to much sun early in the week, in temps around freezing...do not sit in an outside spa in freezing temps in the sun! Using Lemongrass Spa Healing Balm.

    Skin cancer, people, skin cancer!!!
That´s always was pops into my head when I read someone mentioning getting sunburned...
Aloe helps, I just hate the sticky feeling it leaves.
I hope everyone feels better soon.

I know. I'm usually very good at using sunscreen and trying to do outside work early or late in the day... yesterday was not the case. It was just so very nice after a long brutal winte that just won't go away... I lost track of time and forgot to reapply. :/

My hubs once applied for a job in a beach town. I am WHITE. Like, lightest shade of foundation looks dark on me WHITE. I have a bit of irish in me, and it shows.

    Yeah, let that sink in.

I get sunburned after 10 minutes outside if I don't have on sunblock. The sun is my mortal enemy.

I never even thought of the chance of being burned, while the water is hot, it wasn't that sunny, and the temps were below freezing......don't think I'll be going during the summer...

Apple cider vinegar works as good or better than aloe without the sticky feeling. It does a better job at taking out swelling.

Good to know! Doesn't it hurt to put on though?
