If you are seriously learning, I recommend Duo Lingo. It has glitches but you will learn all the basics, and it's free.

Then get going with Amazon Kindle and get Andre' Klein's books. They are easy reading, you also learn about culture in different areas of Germany as you follow the adventures of Dino, who is trying to learn German while in Germany. It starts with the book : “Cafe in Berlin“.

Then Angelika Bohn's three novels, once you have the Dino series “down pat“. She writes extremely well, very interesting stories, for Fremdsprachigen Lernender: foreign language learners.

Curious myself on something. Where is this horse at? I thought Italy, but Switzerland was mentioned and the OP is speaking German. I probably missed something, does anyone know?

The veterinarian thinks it is a skin fungus. he can not explain them holes in the skin, he has never seen anything like it. Since my horse reacted very well to Equimax, he also thinks of filariae, which make fistula channels.

Did he give you an antifungal cream or mentioned a shampoo you can use to wash the horse?

Worm the horse with Ivermectin, if the itching gets worse after Ivermectin it is probably microflora from the midges, then worm with quest.

yes he gave me a shampoo (name?) and antifungal cream :)

That's exactly what the vet said and gave me prednisolone. Tomorrow I can pick up 2 wormers, Equest Paramox. Always Equimax is not good. Prednisolone should then alleviate the allergic reaction.

have the evaluation of the skin test.
Secondary malassecia dermatitis ... never heard. According to veterinarian result of an allergic reaction. Neutrophil and eosinophilic granulocytes are conspicuous, tested at one hole.

I have limited internet access so couldn´t check but malassezia dermatitis is a yeast infection of the skin. "Secondary" means that it is the symptom of another, underlying condition.

Malassezia - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics

With humans, it is helpful to add prebiotics and probiotics to the diet, I would check with your vet if this is okay for your horse as well.

Were your horses too tired and listless before treatment with Equimax?
I can understand that my horse is tired sometimes even apathetic, but this should be improved by the treatments?
he gets the 2 Equest Paramox on Monday and prednisolone 500mg.
Hope my horse will get fit again after nearly 2 years with this itching
