Ogilvy half pads ? Other high quality pads?

    The Ogilvy half pad is alright. Takes some getting used to.
    They don't take up as much room as it initially looks like they do. Once you get up in the saddle and get your weight on it , they compact a lot.
    You will need to be really good at doing up your girth from the saddle , or you will experience loose girth saddle slippage big time from the compacting.
    Some horses go really well in them. Others prefer the sheepskin.
    They feel lovely under an exercise saddle !

    The Ogilvy profile/baby pads are AWESOME!!!
    Awesome cut and fit, awesome anti slip, awesome quick drying. They rock.

    For distance rides I prefer Skito or similar. I tried equipedic but I didn't like the material on the top, loved the inserts though. In fact my current set up is the inserts from my equipedic in the Matrix T3 Woolback endurance. I tried an olgilvy half pad and it really didn't work out for my set up. No problems selling it though haha.
