Bright colored nylon is cuter, leather is safer and classier. I use both. :p

Leather, rope if she needs a lesson on manners, nylon for bathing.

I voted "Other" because I'm only using rope halters right now... otherwise I use nylon. I love leather halters, but they are too pricey for me and I worry they would get ruined super fast...:rolleyez:

I chose Other because I use all of the above but really favor rope halters just for the adjust ability and lack of hardware.

    Other for me.

I have a leather and a nylon halter, but currently I am using a biothane halter/bridle. I love the feel of it. And It is super easy to keep clean.

I like leather halters. I have a really nice one from Quillin that gets used sometimes, but I buy the cheapest, rattiest old leather halters because my mare has to wear one 24/7 to be caught and I'm more confident that a really old leather halter will break faster than an expensive new one if she catches herself. So I hit up the consignment store often and buy out their stock of $5 leather halters that are mostly dry rotted out.
