Good point. I guess I could do two 10 x12 on each side leaving the aisle still 10 feet. Im really wanting to make an aisle from the inside of the barn to the stalls so I don't have to go into the arena to get to the stalls. I don't know why I am caught up on having the stalls like that. The horses are going to be pastured majority of the time so stall use will be limited.

Could you add doors on the side that doesn’t open to the arena?

I plan on having the doors of the 4 stalls open into the walkway. The larger one at the, i have no choice unless I want to screw with the one wall which I don’t.

I'm planning on forcing my dad and brother to build me stalls in my barn and fix me apart for a tack room.

I might do 3 stalls instead of 4 and make one extra long so it takes up the 4th. That way if you had someone in stall rest they have a bigger area.

Thats a good idea. I will keep that in the back of my mind. I still have the one 16x14 or 16x12 at the end too. I can't remember the length right now, its either 12 or 14 feet.

CBD6BCE0-452B-4532-89A4-D3CA330491BE.png Here’s the diagram from one of the inspectors report. It says it’s 42 wide but that’s including the one overhang. I’m only calling it 34 feet wide and 45 long. So that one big stall would be 15x16. I’m going to leave that alone. I may use that as a foaling stall or stall for the beef if needed.
