Jingling for your boy Rachel, all positive vibes his way.
Feels like January 74th, doesn't it?
Missed the fact that it wasn't a fresh trim.
I hope so, if it keeps going like this. I'll be in the loony bin before March lmao
Seriously it's the longest week ever! My coworker who is supposed to be following me to the mechanics just text me to say the road to the kennel is majorly flooded, idk if I should go the long way with the broken truck or if because its higher up I'll be ok(she has a Mitsubishi Outlander so it sits a lot lower).
Anyway, I guess I didn't really specify that he didn't do a full trim, actually how Mark's hood is now, it's too far off from how the other farrier leaves hooves lol
Mark's stall flooded today, had to move him across the isle, he was very happy to be within touching distance of his girlfriend Si.
Fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow, preferably one where the horses can actually get turned out! Last time they were out was Saturday since everything is a sheet of ice and today it poured all day.
Mark is doing good, he is much sounder, hes still a little off when he turns (such as when I put him in his stall and he turns around) but overall much better.
They are in today because its snowing pretty good here, must have woken him up when I went to check water and hay lol.
Marky Mark must be feeling much better. It was bitter cold again today(-10 with windchill of -35) so poor ponies had to be in again today. I guess the little turd was sick of it, so when I was breaking ice out of his water bucket he pushed his door open and took off down the isle. Luckily all the doors were closed so he just went and harassed the mares (Bella and Rainy) and then saw me coming so trotted down the isle the other way And when I was too slow back to the girls again. He sure thought that was great fun. Weather looks better tomorrow so they should be able to go out, I just worry about the ice under the snow. No new pics to share today, my fingers were too cold lol. When I have Mark on the crossties he loves to back up to yuki's stall (the only other gelding in the barn) and yuko bites his blanket or tail and he just stands there, like dude, WTF are you doing
Ponies got to go out today, Mark obviously in the navy/red blanket, Bella(my witch of a mare lol) is the bay in the plum blanket, Si is the other dark bay and Rainy is the paint.
Brrr..and beautiful babes you have.
It warmed up to +10F today, which felt like a heat wave after the -10 yesterday lol
And thank you, Bella is the only other one of mine, Rainy and Si are boarders. Bella is freakishly (and annoyingly) attached to Rainy. Example, caught Bella first, brought her in and went to go get rainy, she spent the entire time kicking her stall wall She clearly isnt right in the head
So today Mark lost his easy boot somewhere in the pasture, guess I should have gone without it with the mud. I walked the pasture looking for it (to no avail, seriously, its not even that big!) Apparently Mark thought it was fun so he followed me around the whole time, nudging me if I stopped , he's such a character...now if only I could find that darn boot!
For some reason only 2 of the 4 pics are uploading but you get the idea lol
