I did use the reins and breastcollar last night because the breastcollar actually goes big enough to fit her..... waiting on the photographer.......

You have to buy one that fits to your head shape (oval, round, and height of your head), then your appropriate size. You can also use the hairspray trick or Bobby pins. :)

    She' about 115% grade!
The hat is a tricky thing.... wearing it and sweating a little helps it stick. Sometimes folding the inside liner down really helps it stick if it's windy.

No pictures from the photographer, so here's a poor screenshot showing the breastcollar.....

Rodeo queen rule numero uno.... If your hat hits the ground, your head better be in in it. Hats are NOT supposed to come off. Ever :D The hat has to fit right: oval, long, round etc. Then you use either hairspray on the hatband and your forehead, bobby pins, and/or toupee tape. Some people resort to stampede strings.

My daughter had a hat made for her at Greeley Hatworks. That thing isn't coming off. Typically better hats hold their shape better and conform to your head better. They can also be cleaned and reshaped and can handle getting rained on.
