Call the Vet's office and tell him. He will probably tell you that if the dog isn't showing signs of distress and poops that it will be okay. Or you can go there but they usually don't do much unless the bag causes a blockage. No signs of blockage and they usually wait to see if the dog will pass it.

i would call a vet first and get their opinion on whether to take her in or not but they are most likely going to tell you to bring her in cuz it can become a serious problem. if you can't afford it ask for care credit. that way you can make payments. i had to take my cat into the vet cuz he didn't poop in 2 days and was extremely uncomfortable. had to do 3 enimas, an overnight visit, and xrays and it turns out his colon doesn't pass anything through so he needs medication for the rest of his like. it turned into a 450 dollar vet bill and I did not have the money at all so i put it on care credit and i have a 25 buck a month payment.

It will probably be okay depending on the size of your dog.
If it was eaten in the past 20 minutes I would induce vomiting.
Otherwise you can try a high fiber diet for the next 3 days, feeding every 3-4 hours to keep the gut moving at a constant rate.

I would call the vet. I have heard of people that one of their dogs ate a plastic bag, or worse- celephane, and ended up in a huge problem including twisting the intestine or blocking the bowel.
Call the vet and advise of the situation. They will tell you what to look for etc and how to proceed. With a plastic bag, I would no induce vomiting as on being vomited, this could block the throat.

I've seen them eat worse and be okay. Maybe she will stay away from plastic bags now though!

I'm glad its back out. If its the kind with the ziploc- I would have said to take it to the vet pronto. Anything that stiff would be bad.
