So done yep I’m moving to Florida
This is just today and I hear more is coming
Oh, it's so pretty! I wish I lived where it snowed!
I hear that from people out here who have never actually lived in the snow. They see pictures or they go to Tahoe for a weekend of skiing. They don't know what a constant pain in the butt it is to live in.
And it's not even the driving - I'd rather drive in snow than in rain or mud. It's the constant dealing with it. Bundle up, shovel the walk, dig out the car, clean off the windows, warm it up, go to work. Unbundle, put wet boots and coat and mittens and hat somewhere where they won't ruin everything. Work.
Get done. Put all that carp back on. Go out to find that it snowed again. Dig out car. Clean windows. Warm it up. Drive home. Bump over the berm the plow left at the foot of the drive. Get stuck going up the hill because your plow guy hasn't been there yet.
Nope. I hear ya. I sometimes miss New England but not because I like putting up with either snow or mud season.
Current measurement and still snowing : 17”
I’m glad I’m on the injured list as I don’t have to deal with it
Can anyone find the dog???
Mind you he’s supposed to be staying quiet
Talk about letting my favorite internet kid loose in the candy store! He is having a field day
How long did it take for you to get 17" of snow? Are you catching part of Nor'easter #3 --- in less than two weeks?
Why I left Pennsylvania to retire in southern Middle Tennessee. I'm too old for all that bundling up to do barn chores ----- I need a nap just putting on a coat, boots and gloves that would never keep me from freezing further north
Omg, I love the way dogs are in snow! Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve! He's just having way too much fun!
It’s been going steady since 7am
He’s giving me grey hairs.... just had a 700$ vet bill for X-rays of his knees
I could kill him
Moving to Florida, you say?
I have three Acres, fenced/ cross fenced, a double wide 3 bdrm, two bath with a workshop and a pole barn for sale.
End of the year.
How cheap is cheap? Ball park. In my area, that would go for over 1 mil.
If y'all didn't have the crazy TV show president I'd entertain buying in Florida.
I want to live where property is affordable.
