Second to last day today. Had to be brave and push myself but did it!
Well I am back home and already missing my boy! Put my brave pants on on the last day and got some cool stuff to show for it!
Congratulations!! Overcoming your fears is HUGE. I’m in a similar place right now. Rode my entire life growing up...5 shoulder surgeries, close to 100 lbs weight gain, my confidence is non existent. I actually almost had a panic attack when i put my foot in the stirrup one day. I think weight gain is a big part of my issue because it has thrown my balance off SOO much. I’m 60 lbs down now, which helps, but still have a ways to go. Hopefully I’ll have a success story similar to yours soon! Congratulations again, you should be proud of yourself!
Congrats!! Huge steps! What a good boy he is....and so handsome.
Congratulations and thank you for sharing your story!
Loving riding but back pain not improving. Almost called an ambulance last monday. Finally saw specialist after my MRI and while he can see damaged discs told me he is not interested in doing anything about it and to learn to avoid doing things that hurt and take more meds. Not what you want at 31 when in so much pain
Darn it, I'm so sorry to hear that your back pain isn't improving! Have you looked into wearable therapy like BOT or Fenwick? I'm not sure how much they would help, but it might be some improvement.
If you can completely rest for a short time, and then be careful to stretch after activity, I think you'll do better.
Been years with it getting progressively worse. Tried utterly everything as knew docs would be useless.
Took years of riding no improving, taken weeks off work to rest it, gym, yoga chiro acupuncture etc. Keto diet helping with inflammation a bit, but still was really hoping something they can do. Very hard to keep progressing our facility build and breeding program when I truly fear I will get even worse
