That's a bummer
That's a bummer, really sorry to hear that.
Are you trying same breeding next year (but back in Texas)?
Nope!! I really think his semen quality was the issue and I'm not willing to sink any more money into him.
I've got a connection to a free breeding to Woody Be Tuff that I may use.. if plan a falls through
Oh my goodness yes please. I've been following a lovey Woody baby out of a half sister (I think) to my mare. He is STUNNING. If I can get funds together for a breeding to him, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
I'm sorry that things did. It work out as you wished. Enjoy MIA and Chloe (sp).
He does make smart babies!
Agreed! Fancy as all get out, and cleaning up in the showpen. My mare's nephew (that's a thing, right? haha) is all sorts of nice. I'd be thrilled to have one like that in my barn, and with your mare as the dam?!?
Oh the CHROME!!!!!!
So sad! They are bringing CC semen to Australia so was tempted to buy a mare there to put in foal and import but with the costs involved for a grade foal and then potentially non viable amen seems far too risky. Shame!
