Mark is lame :'( (vet was called)

    Unless it's my donkey. He just had his very first abcess. He enjoyed the pampering and extra attention so much. After we got his abcess drained, I swear everytime I walked around the corner he would be standing on all four just fine. As soon as he saw me, he would jerk his foot up off the ground and start his squeaky 'I want attention now' donkey voice. They are just too smart!

    Agree all horses try to be stoic, it is in their nature and some have been trained to not react even if it hurts because sometimes it is a negative reaction like a kick or bite.
