I assume it will stop raining someday so I can ride this year, but in the mean time I have a ton of random 4x4s, 2x4s and a miter saw gathering dust - considering making a trail class bridge.

I'm sure I can YouTube tutorials, but curious if you've done it yourself and have any tips or wish-I-would-haves. I've seen two-piece versions for easier mobility, but wondered if people bother unbolting them or still just end up moving the whole thing...

We made one about a month ago..

    Horse Playground Bridge.jpg

It is 2 - 8 foot 4x4's - treated wood going lengthwise. It's 32 inches wide with the cross pieces being a mix of left over 2x6's and 2x8's screwed into the 4x4's with 2 1/2 inch construction screws.

Since this picture, we painted it white and threw sand into the paint to make it less slippery.

    Hope this helps.
