So I'm in love with long thick manes and tails so let's see them.
Jessie has the good hair genes. I just cut her mane this winter, so I made sure to include a before photo Her tail is honestly the best. Not to brag.
Love the waves! My girls is board straight... But it's THICK and LONG. I always get asked what do I do or what products do I use.... none. It's brushed maybe 2 times a month. Sometimes only once a month and honestly sometimes I skip a month. It doesn't tangle easily and the only thing that is wrong is I need to trim it because it touches and sometimes drags the ground... but I'm honestly afraid to cut it.
I like to think my efforts make a difference, but I'm embarrassed by my gelding's overall lack of hair, so I know it's not me. The last photo I had braided her tail the night before, but it does have some slight wave to it. I like a nice banged tail, straight across, so it's just above fetlocks when raised during movement. I think a nice banged tail makes it look even fuller (but that's obviously discipline and personal preference dependent)
Whoa!!! That mane
ASB Annie. This was last August. There's probably close to a foot on the ground now, I just forgot to take pictures when I dropped it for a bath last week.
Did you do her mane yourself???
