    I'll add pics later.
    Vet did an x ray and it was close if not touching the coffin bone.

    He pulled it. We soaked it for 30 minutes in Epsom salts. Then he did a lower limb profusion of antibiotics. He then wrapped it after packing it with icthemol. Big dose of antibiotics and banamine and also some Bute. Gave him a tetanus booster.

    I left him at the clinic in a deep stall. Need to get a few things and a lot of shavings, and then I'll bring him home tomorrow...hopefully.

    We'll see how lame he is tomorrow and may do some more x rays. May have to take him to CSU.

    Oh and it bled quite a bit when it came out and while it soaked.

    Bleeding is good! Probably washed out all the nasty stuff.

    Hope he feels better tomorrow.

    I was thinking the same thing, bleeding is probably a good thing. Sending well wishes your way :)
