when your friend is always tired and would rather sleep 16 hours, when your friend is irritable, when your friend keeps canceling plans, when your friend seemed to have "left" himself/herself go. It could be narcolepsy too. Feeling chronically exhausted and exasperated that 16 hours of sleep still leaves you feeling the same as if you haven't slept in 2 weeks. Begging your significant other to drive so you can nap on the 20 minute drive. Setting your phone alarm for 15 minutes so you can get a nap in your car before you leave for home after work. That was me over a year ago. I had to speak up and request narcolepsy medication. Since then my life has been dramatically better. I had seen so many different people and tried nearly every antidepressant before then with nothing helping and several making me feel worse. Ive also been on such high doses of levothyroxine that I was having adverse reactions such as palpitations, tachycardia, INSOMNIA, and tremors.
