I'm in need of a trailer!
Does anyone know of website or somewhere I can find a cheaper one??
A cattle trailer is fine, 2-3 horse trailer and it must be a bumper pull!
I plan on going to some races this year and put some miles on my horse.
Any trailer buying tips are appreciated!
    Thank you!

There's quite a few websites. Check out some recently posted on our search engine for getting quick answers!!

What's your budget too, some here are selling theirs. One's pretty pricey, but it's a full showing/living arrangement one.

Beware of cheap trailers. Trailer floors take a lot of abuse. The weight and pounding of hooves, the corroding effects of manure and urine, and vibration all contribute to weakening the floor. If the floor gives way, you lose a horse in a most horrible way.

Make sure that any trailer you look at gets inspected thoroughly by someone who can evaluate its strength. Pull up mats and check the floor thoroughly. Check all welds. Surface rust is a minor issue - major rust a major one. Best bet is to ask the seller if you can take it to a trailer mechanic to inspect.

I'm looking a for a 2 horse bumper pull or stock trailer. I'd say my budget is a thousand but I could go up a bit more if that's what it takes to get a reliable one.

Your budget isn't going to allow you to get anything decent unfortunately. Trailer prices have gone up and used ones also as the new ones are so high. Probably best to save and get with a friend and ride share.

There's also a place that advertises ride sharing, but it may usually be just one way trips. Many people have an opening on shows though.

So are you old enough to be trailer shopping? Just asking because if your parents are in charge of your horse feed I'm guessing that you are a minor? In which case you need to be having a chat with them about a trailer....just trying to keep things straight here.
