Some of you may remember Calypso, a horse as beautiful as a dream, with dark mahogany red coat and a thick glittering tail that swept the ground, with white specks dotting her like stars.
WELL she is gone, and replaced with.... THIS.

The horses all got out, and I FEEL VERY LUCKY that nothing bad happened, but apparently SOMEBODY stopped to roll and SOMEBODY found a stand of burrdocks.

There must be 100 burrs in just her tail.
    Her beautiful, flowing, TAIL! :bawling:

Baby oil! Soak it and they will slide out easily! She looks quite proud of her handiwork

At . . . At least her mane has grown back in? from the horrible butchery from tbe summer aka THE LAST TIME SHE GOT INTO BURRS.

I don't have time to deal with her tail tomorrow or Christmas but guess what my plans are boxing day?!

    She is quite the tank!
Mudball has a thick winter coat, which is something Calypso never managed, so I guess this new monster isn't ALL bad.

She IS the only one that rolled in the mud, and she is the only one to completely burr herself. . .

Even if you dont have time to start de-burring I would slather that tail in oil, to prevent it from getting even more tangled.

Coconut oil is better, it moisturizes the tail and it'll be soft as silk when you're finished.
Horses like to decorate themselves, it's tradition.
