She is way beyond adorable. Congrats!! Now I want one... :p

If you're a fan of the Lord of the Rings, you could always go with a "pint-sized" Hobbit name. Or, to go with the Southern theme:

    Belle
    Dixie
    Sage (as in Sagebrush)
    Thistle

    She is Odette!

We left Friday afternoon, drove north all night until we reached McMinnville Oregon at 5 am. It took us 24 hours to haul her home. We both got way too tired at 11 pm Saturday with 100 miles to go. We found a big turn out on the highway and slept in the LQ. Odette was EDPP very well so she didn't mind camping in the trailer.

She is a bit of a bucket of parts, club hoof and an underbite (seller disclosed this all prior to sale)

But I ADORE HER!! She's super smart, friendly and very contemplative about her surroundings.

Took her on a walk around the property and trimmed her front hooves. She stands really nicely but she isn't confident about having her hind feet handled for long. I picked them out easily enough so we will build her confidence for a bit and not worry too much about trimming them. I really wanted to get that front club trimmed and I don't think it will be too bad at all. It looks worse than it is.

She leads well, but she doesn't know how to stop lol. We had fun anyway. She totally ignores the dogs.
