He has the BEST Roman Nose I've ever seen~!!
I'd probably call him Dino, short for Dinosaur.
I saw him on the HH page also. So glad someone from here got him! He looked so sweet. Congrats!
Moose might be really appropriate. Probably 70 years ago my Grandfather had a STB pass away that he made the mistake of saying in front of his young boys that he wished he had something to keep of her because she was so special. So the kids being dumb farm kids didn't think a hoof imprint, or mane/tail clipping. They took her head into be stuffed and mounted. I know that sounds really creepy and weird, but it was a time when horse hair chairs were common and what could be used of an animal was. The kids also butchered the livestock on the farm, and hunted to fill the freezer so it really was something they were familiar with doing.
The taxidermist didn't have a skull mount for a horse (big surprise) so they mounted her head on a moose mount. Grandad "loved" it and hung it in his house for years and when he passed it went into my parent's factory. That head was the spitting image of this guy other than being a bay. I'll have to see if they still have it and if my mom can get a picture. I know she had wanted to get rid of it because a stuffed horse head creeped her out.
He is not ugly. Yes, that head is extreme but he has such beautiful eyes, I think he transcends ugly.
He looks like such a gentle soul...
I would def.go with a roman name
Albus - bright, white
Blandus - charming
Caelius - heaven
Cato - wise
Felix - lucky, successful (he certainly is lucky to have you)
Gaius - to rejoice
Julius - possibly derived from a greek word meaning "downy-bearded", isn't that precious?
Lucius - light
Manius - good
Servius - to preserve
Valerius - to be strong
Varius - versatile
Vitus - life
I don't know why, but now I think "Dumbledore" would be a fantastic name.
He is GORGEOUS! I am a huge sucker for a Roman nose, never seen one that pronounced though! You gotta go with Roman, it's so fitting!
I LOVE Cyrano! Perfect!
I LOVE his Roman nose. I can wait to see more of him in the future.
My first impression was that he's ugly but that changed quickly. He's got the most moving eyes. Name ideas; Chess, Skype, or Knight.
I was going to suggest that!
Separate names with a comma.
